Something really weird just happened and I want to understand why. I was just updating some fields in my Pralana Gold spreadsheet and noticed that the EXPENSES menu suddenly had no submenu. The submenu (Property, Rental Property, etc.) was gone. I saved under a different name, reopened the original copy and it was fine, then reopened the new copy and it came up normally, but with an Excel note that macros were disabled.
Can anyone explain what happened here? Everything seems fine but but it was very unnerving because now I'm wondering what else might be wrong.
@alanm I'm afraid that's a quirk associated with some versions of Excel. It's been around for a few years, at least, and I've spent a good deal of time trying to figure it out but with absolutely no success. It's generally not repeatable and the only thing to do is what you did.
