Let's suppose I will start Medicare in year 2030.

I am working now. My income is high from Roth conversions.

At some point before Age 65, I plan to retire, going on ACA for a handful of years. I plan to manage my income such that I get PTCs and also set up properly to limit IRMAA two years before Medicare.

PRC asks for MAGI in Year 2020 and Year 2021. But my income was high then, and those are not the look back years for Medicare; look-backs should be 2028 and 2029, when my income is much lower.

How should I be entering those two MAGI fields?

Dave,

You don't have to worry about that; the tool will handle it. It asks for the MAGI in 2020 and 2021 because those are prior to the start of the modeling period.
