I'm using Pralana Online and find myself often wanting to leave myself breadcrumbs for my future self to understand what my historical self was thinking. While adding notes in the software itself would be great, I imagine that will drastically slow performance if there's an extra field for every current field (not to mention a character limit). Maybe a separate page would work, but that's not great either.

So, I'm going to create my own additional notebook. Before I set out to do it, I wanted to ask if anyone has already done this and thinks their solution is organizing well and worth sharing. Thanks.

Hi Sandy.

After I finish running any version of a plan, I print out the Plan Inputs Report (ReviewReportsPlan Inputs Report) and annotate that where needed. I use PDXchange Editor to insert my notes directly into the PDF report, then store it with the other related outputs for that version of the plan. While it is not exactly what you are seeking, it does tell me what I was thinking and other non-documented inputs I used for each plan version. If you don't have a PDF editor, I believe you could open the PDF in MS Word (or copy/paste the report contents to Word or equivalent) and then add your notes that way.

Do you think this could satisfy your requirements?

Thanks George - yes this is perfect for my needs. I am able to print to PDF and then save the PDF as a MSFT OneNote file which lets me write notes in line (over the report itself). This is in fact far easier than trying to align everything in excel. Many thanks!
