I have lots of clients living essentially as if married but are not married and each file single. It would be nice to have an option for two people/earners in the system but without counting them as married? I'm wondering if taxes can be calculated separately for each person and then combined into one output. That is, I wouldn't expect two completely different sets of tax outputs for Person 1 and Person 2, but rather the totals for Person 1+2.

In some situations just treating them as married is close enough. But there are too many areas where this approximation is too far from the actual tax situation.

Just throwing it out there as a down-the-road improvement should the Pralana team find themselves bored. 🙂

@stkeros You're not the first to request this but I think you can understand that it'll need to be a low-priority enhancement and appreciate your input on this!

Yes, totally understand low priority! Just throwing it out there for the day when there is a big team of coders working for Pralana. 😉
