We appreciate your feedback and suggestions for improvement. You are welcome to enter your ideas here in the forum for discussion.

Please note, though, that we use the Pralana Online Feedback 'Feature Enhancements' and 'Usability Improvements' for tracking suggestions.

For suggestions to get development time/attention, either you or the site admins will need to add them to the Feedback. If you add your suggestions to the Feedback, they will be tied to your username and you can see the status. If we add them, you will not see the status updates.

Perhaps it would useful, instructive for PRC to expand the Voting section with full tentative Enhancements. Those features open for Votes could be restricted. Or create a new section called Roadmap for ideas marked TBD without a specific timeline or full review decision.

Might help prevent duplicate or similar Feedback entries as well as provide sense of future product direction. Would also allow Users to know submitted suggestion made the list.

My apologies, evidently I have been doing it wrong -- I thought this was the place to put requests for Enhancements and Improvements.

FWIW, I think this is a much better venue since the community can view and discuss ....

So should I go back and redo all of my Wish List requests through Feedback?

@caroblover It may be useful to also post a wish list item here if it is likely to be of broad appeal and the requirements are complex and could benefit from input from other subscribers. For straightforward items, just put them in the feedback.

There are currently several hundred open feedback usability improvements and feature requests. Trying to track all of these scattered across hundreds of forum posts would a challenge.

The Feedback items are stored in a database and can be searched, filtered, listed and are much easier to manage.

@bo3b I do like the 'roadmap' idea for the reasons you mention. It would need to be more visible...Feature Voting is not so obvious to find.

FYI, there are currently around 400 open feature requests and usability improvements. Some of them contain personal info of the requester that we should not expose for public viewing without significant editing.

Thus, the Feature Voting list is a short list of requests that are popular and required significant effort to implement. Many of the easy ones just get done...no need for voting.

Adding the Roadmap would include many more features beyond the Feature Voting items. I like it! Of course, now this is an additional feature request... 😊

@cstone Ok, I created Feedback requests as well ….

Hope I haven’t worn out my welcome and hope the suggestions make sense.
