I've just started out with Pralana, and all I'm doing for now is modeling Roth conversions

After one year of projection, I looked at the account statement page to be sure I'm following the arithmetic. Do I understand correctly that the software is presuming that the Roth conversion occurs at the end of the year ? If correct, can it be changed ?

An example is included.

By the way, the help screens are invaluable. Without them I would be that much further behind in understanding

Now that I think about it, it looks more like the software is presuming that the conversion took place Jan 1st

Please confirm or correct

Hi Eric, Roth conversions are done at year-end after growth and other account deposits and withdrawals (like RMDs) are applied.

Ahh .. thanks for setting me straight.

I'm going to Roth convert in Jan of each year. My first idea was to 'shift' my Roth data entries by a year but I don't think that will work. Any thoughts ?
