For Mode 2 Portfolio Allocation and Growth Taxation, the entry fields I usually see do not appear. "There are no items in this form". So I can't set an asset allocation for the various accounts.

Is this a glitch? Or am I doing something wrong. I just shared a plan with admins, btw, in case it helps to answer this question (and my other question about inherited Roth IRAs).

🙂

@stkeros I am a new user, but I am having the exact same problem. I am trying to set up my first scenario using Advanced Portfolio Modeling Mode 2 and have hit a brick wall. There is no option for me to enter anything on either the Growth Taxation or Mode 2: Portfolio Allocation tabs. The Growth Taxation tab says "There are no items in this form" and the Mode 2: Portfolio Allocation tab just shows headings with no input fields.

Update 10:30pm ET Saturday July 5: I have set your asset allocations and growth taxation to the default values used for a new scenario. Please review these settings for the affected scenarios and update as appropriate. If you still see issues, please reply here or email me at charlie@pralanaconsulting.com with an explanation and, if needed, a screenshot and will I follow up with you individually.

Thank you for reporting this issue and please accept my apology for the inconvenience.

Charlie

Update 7:00pm ET Saturday July 5: I have found the issue, but it will be later this evening before I can resolve it. I will post an update when resolved.

In the meantime, I will post an alert on the site. This issue affects scenarios created while there was an alert on the Add/Delete Scenarios page about new scenarios being only partially completed. The asset taxation and allocation default values were not created during this time, so I will need to run a script to find scenarios with the missing defaults and add it.

Thank you for letting me know about this.

@cstone Thanks Charlie. I have not updated them yet, but the input fields with the default values do now appear in my scenario.

Update 3:15pm ET Sunday July 6:

While the fix applied last night fixed the missing data for the affected users, the root cause was not fixed and I am seeing the issue re-occurring today and affecting 3 subscribers including @stkeros

I will put an alert on the site about this and for technical reasons I won't bore you with, cannot run the 'fix script' now. I will have to find and fix the root cause and deploy a site update to fix this for good. I will post and update here when completed.

Update 9:15pm ET Sunday July 6:

I just released a site update to fix the root cause of this issue and then ran the script to restore the missing values. Please review your asset class rates of return, growth taxation and allocations and adjust as needed.
