Hello. I recently purchased Pralana Online in order to model my mother's retirement scenario. I'm having trouble getting the social security benefits set up correctly in Pralana and am hoping to get some assistance here.

My father passed away in 2014 at age 61 and my mother (currently age 68) has been collecting SS survivor's benefits for several years now (I think since she was 61). She has not started collecting her own benefit yet.

In Pralana, I've entered both parents and set my father's life expectancy to 61, the age that he passed. On the Social Security Income page, I have played around with all the reasonable permutations of inputs, but the column for my mother's survivor benefit in the "Benefit Projections" tab is always blank. Have I set something up incorrectly?

Hi there . If you read this thread all the way, Stuart told me how to do this, and it works pretty well. Hope this helps.
