Hi,

I did a community search but couldn't find the answer to my question.

I'm in the process of loading my initial balances and have created two Roth accounts, one for me and one for my wife, in the Retirement Accounts tab. I have entered the balances for each.

However in Advanced Portfolio Modeling, in the Asset Allocation/Location tab (Mode 1), only a single Roth IRA column exists in which to define asset allocation. In other words not a separate one for each of us.

Shouldn't both of our Roth IRAs be shown, in order to have different AAs for each? I get that these accounts don't have RMDs, so maybe that's the philosophy, but wouldn't having both provide greater flexibility when modeling Roth conversions?

Thanks.

@jackson17 No. Even though you can list separate Roth accounts for you and your wife on the Initialization page, Pralana combines them and only models a single Roth account. The only place it models separate accounts for husband and wife is with tax-deferred accounts, and that's because of the RMDs.
