When you create and name your asset classes, there doesn't appear to be a way to designate an asset class as, for example "stocks" or "bonds" (aside from my choice of asset class name). When the historical analysis is run, does Pralana treat all of my asset classes as the same when it's applying historical rates of return and apply a sort of blended rate to them? Or did I miss an input somewhere where I should be mapping my custom asset classes to standard ones?

Sorry for creating a dupe of this question above. Submitting this question (and the one above) timed out and threw a GoDaddy hosting error and it didn't look like the post succeeded. And I couldn't find a way to delete this one or message an admin about it.

@ckwe Do you mean beyond the Map Asset Classes to Historical Classes found under Analyze > Historical Analysis > Historical Rates of Return and Inflation?

@jkandell that's exactly what I was looking for! When I read in the user manual about how the historical analysis works, it didn't mention that it uses the user-configurable mappings there. I hadn't come across anything until today that pointed me to that settings page but it seemed like it must exist somewhere. Thanks for pointing it out.
