Low priority but it would be useful to add a 4th period for the itemized (Discretionary) expenses tab. Most of my clients are pre-retirees, so I use period 1 for current expenses while working. Period 2 would be beginning retirement (go-go active retiree period). Period 3 then would be about the age things start to slow down (no more kayaking, mountain hiking, the slow-go years). It would be good to have a 4th period for the more docile period, advanced age, the no-go years when they're mostly sedentary.

I second this suggestion! I've frequently wished for a fourth period, to use exactly as Bill described.

I second this idea.
