Glad to see after the latest correction to how spousal benefits are calculated in PRC that my SS income estimates now match the estimates I got from SSA.tools. Always happy to have corrections that make things look better!

@malik182 Looks like you have used it for last 3 years. Do you upgrade each year? How much do the yearly upgrades cost? I did not find this info on the web.

@jsarpal I have been using PRC Gold since at least 2018 and have upgraded it just about every year. I think the product is worth much more than Stuart has been charging for it. I am not surprised to hear that the price will be going up (I hope by not too much!).

I also think that the web-based version will avoid the glitches that invariably have to be fixed every time Microsoft modifies how Excel works.

@malik182 Thanks for this comment, too! I've held the price of PRC at a fixed level for many years but it's time for an increase. You're definitely right about Excel, and unfortunately there have been a number of Excel-related issues that I simply could never figure out how to work around, so it resulted in flaky behavior in some cases (flashing screens, disappearing navigation links, portions of pages becoming inaccessible, etc). We'll still be dependent on some commercial products with the web version but we'll have total control over the user interface.
