I have acquired a new laptop (using windows 11 pro) and cannot open my most recent copy of PRC on it. Following your instructions, I downloaded a fresh copy of PRC to my new laptop. However, When I try to open it I get the message " Microsoft has blocked macros from running because the source of this file is untrusted". I'm not sure how to proceed at this point. Thanks in advance for your help

@mark-sutherland There's a section right up front in the user manual called "Unblocking the PRC File" that explains how to deal with this issue. Here's what is says:

Close the PRC file and open Windows Explorer. Then locate the PRC file (probably in your Downloads folder), right click it, select Properties, and then note the "Unblock" checkbox in the lower right corner of the pop-up's General tab. Check that box and then click OK. Then just double-click the PRC file and it should come up unblocked. Just enable macros when asked and you should be good to go.

Thanks Stewart. Your manual is telling me "...( PRC2023 will not import directly from another calculator file; it must be an export data file)" I don't seem to be able to create an export data file (from the original file) because I can't open/use that file on my new laptop. Seems like I'm stuck in a loop here.

***DISREGARD; I was able to recover the original file and create an export from my old laptop. Thanks

@mark-sutherland Yes, that's correct and that's why we recommend that you always maintain an up-to-date export file since we cannot predict in advance when our computer is going to fail. Regardless, there's another option which is also explained in the user manual: you can login and go to the Members page and download the Read_Computer_ID file. After downloading it, run it on your new computer and then email it to me (mail@pralanaconsulting.com). I'll use that to generate a file that will enable you to open and unlock the copy of PRC moved over to the new computer from your old computer. This will bypass the need for an export file.
