I would like to model medical expenses at different ages beyond inflation adjustments (to account for increased expenses as we get older). Please see the attached spreadsheet.
Cells B4:B8 are inflation adjusted costs.
Cells C4:C8 are arbitrary "fudge" factors to increase the inflation adjusted costs. The results are in cells D4:D8.
Cells D11:D15 are what the present values should be in order to match the values in cells D4:D8. For example, I get the value in cell D5 if I adjust the value in D12 for inflation (please see E11:E15 for checks).
I can specify different expenses for various ages. My question is do I specify the values in D5:D8 or in D12:D15? I think it should be D12:D15 because the program accounts for inflation but am not sure.
Thanks in advance for your reply!
@cincy_1988 I'm not seeing an attached spreadsheet. Please email your export file to mail@pralanaconsulting.com and I'll be happy to try to help.
