Newbie user of Pralana Gold...
Where do I find the details of state tax calculations?
For example, NY excludes 100% of NY public and Federal-sourced pensions and 100% of Social Security and up to $20,000 per taxpayer of private and out-of-state public pensions. I can set my pension as 'Private', but I want to see where/how Pralana came up with its state tax number in sufficient detail that I have a sense of how close it gets to NY tax law.
NY also retained the pre-TCJA rules for itemized deductions, so the Federal SALT limit of $10,000 doesn't apply and the 2% misc deductions are still available.

@chashm This information is not visible to users but I just checked and here's what I see: 100% of SSI is deductible; RMDs and private pensions are deductible up to a combined total of $20,000 per taxpayer; military and government pensions are fully deductible. Pralana always assumes the standard deduction.
