I see that, as a Pralana Gold license holder, I can download something called Read_Computer_ID. I read something about that in the user manual but don't really understand it. Am I supposed to download this file and send it to Pralana, or what?
Straight from the manual: IF YOU REGULARLY MAINTAIN AN EXPORT DATA FILE ON SOME MEDIA INDEPENDENT OF YOUR COMPUTER (E.G., CLOUD OR MEMORY STICK) YOU WILL NEVER NEED THE INFORMATION IN THIS PARAPGRAPH. Nevertheless, just in case you find yourself with a failed computer and no back-up copy, we have established a workaround mechanism. This should not be considered the go-to method for all instances of needing move your PRC license to another computer. Login under your 2021 Gold license on the Member Login page of the Pralana website and download a copy of the READ_COMPUTER_ID file, then save it and then run it. After it runs, it will be automatically re-saved and closed. YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO THIS UNLESS YOUR COMPUTER HAS FAILED OR BEEN UPGRADED AND YOU HAVE FAILED TO MAINTAIN A CURRENT EXPORT DATA FILE.

Will your team still support PRC_UNLOCK UTILITY with the transition to On-Line? If yes how long to crate said utility? I just sent an email because I never exported my file and I got a new laptop!

When I click on the link to download the file nothing downloads?
@mgarbm The way this (and all other downloads) works is that it first goes to a page where you can place the (free) order. If you click Place Order, then it goes to another page with the actual Read_Computer_ID download button. When you click that, the file gets downloaded to your Downloads folder. As far as I can tell, this process is working. Did any of this happen for you?

I was following the instructions from the manual to install on second PC and realized I didn't need to read the computer ID. I figured it out prior to your reply and just did the standard dowload and I'm up and running. Thanks for following up!
