The last calculator I used was PRC2021. Unfortunately, the computer I was using crashed, so I had to get a new one. I do have a backup of my PRC2021 file but would need to unlock it on the new computer to use it. I really liked the 2021 Gold version and think that I should switch to either the Pralana Online or the 2025 Gold version. It seems that the online version is still missing a number of features that are included in the Gold version. Do you think that my best move would be to get the 2025 Gold version and then simply manually re-enter my updated data?
@van-workum363 I guess it depends on whether you used those missing functions. The Sensitivity Analysis is being released in Pralana Online this week, but the other differences will still be a while. Also, Pralana Online has a very robust set of tabular projections so that probably makes the lack of customized projections moot. In fact, Pralana Online contains considerably more detailed projections than does Pralana Gold. I hope that helps some.

Right now anyway I prefer to use PRC Gold as I do not need in-depth analyses. It would be nice to see Gold updated a little more then just tax rates, or drop the price. Not a big deal 😏.
For me and the clients I service, no contest. Online is far more sophisticated, informative, and easier to use than the Excel versions.
