The only way I could get Tabular Projections->Taxes to show the interest, dividends, and option trading capital gains in my brokerage accounts, I hacked Financial Assets -> Asset Class Taxation as follows.
I feel like I am driving a sedan through the Pantanal.
Assuming Pralana is trying to factor changes to LTCG, dividends, interest, and STCG as I pay taxes for Roth Conversions, are there better ways I should be doing this? I have no intuition for how 2026 and beyond will get mutilated by Pralana and by what looks good in 2025 with this hack.
Making this change caused a serious change in Roth Conversions, though the income numbers are small on the surface. Either a bug, or Pralana makes steady-state assumptions I am not aware of.
Thanks, Brian
