I will start by saying this could totally have been something I did that I just don't remember doing, but I wanted to raise this here in case someone has seen something similar, or has a possible explanation.
When working with Gold, I don't always create an export file when I exit. I might have several saved sessions over a few days before I get to a point where I want another export file, but I always Save the worksheet when I exit.
Today, I just a happened to notice an anomaly in my Financial Assets Initialization tables that I can't explain. At some point between export files, three of the fields in the FA table were populated with numbers that I don't recognize. I've attached a partial screenshot. Starting balance figures were populated in the bottom cell of each section for My Tax-Deferred, Roth, and Regular Investment accounts. No data was entered in the Sub-Accounts description cell. Cells were left empty between my last entry in each section and this "mystery" data.
The numbers in these fields are not familiar to me and don't match anything that I can come up with in my portfolios.
DISCLAIMER: The export file containing this "error" question was done in mid July, with the one prior to that in March. I don't always have the best memory. It's entirely possible I was dinking around with some numbers between March-July, and forgot to remove them before saving and exporting. I just can't think of why I would have entered numbers this way - without labels, and down at the bottom of the list leaving blanks in between.
Thinking there may have been an issue with exporting and importing between versions, I tried various combinations of importing and exporting my previous files with different versions of Gold (2.3.2 and 2.3.3.) but no new mystery data appears.
I actually noticed the problem while working in Pralana Online today, but was able to verify that the data was in the export file well before I began using Online.
On the down side, my Total Savings projections suddenly look a tiny bit worse than I had been seeing that last couple of times I ran scenarios. 🙁
I can easily delete these three fields, and I am poring over the remaining data very carefully to ensure I (or something) haven't introduced unwanted figures elsewhere. But if anyone has an idea other than User Error for how this could have happened, I'm all ears.
@tcbarney Do you remember ever having run the mid-year correction algorithm which is initiated by clicking the button with that label on the lower right side of the FA > Initialization page? I'm guessing that's the explanation for the mystery data because that algorithm puts the results of its calculations where you've shown it.

Thank you! I didn't remember doing that until your response here, but that triggered a faint memory. I definitely remember thinking about it, so I must have. It's obvious, looking at the numbers, that that's where they came from.
