I am using the gold version. Are the expenses entered on the Discretionary Expenses tab automatically escalated over time based on the inflation factor entered on the home page? The manual indicates that they are, but when I look at expenses on the Tabular Projections>Expenses tab, they don't appear to be inflated over time (at least on that tab).

Yes, they are escalated based on the inflation rate specified on the Home page; however, if you're looking at the Tabular Projections > Expenses page in terms of today's dollars, they'll be a constant value. Look at it in terms of future dollars to see the escalated values.
